Pakistan Shines at the 2022 IMMAF Asian Championships – Dushanbe, Tajikistan
Team Pakistan, under the banner of the Pakistan MMA Federation (PAKMMAF), proudly participated in the 2022 IMMAF Asian Championships held from 27 to 30 October in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Hosted by the Tajikistan MMA Federation and sanctioned by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), the championship brought together elite amateur athletes from across the continent for four days of world-class competition.
With more than 170 athletes from 13 nations in attendance, Pakistan’s presence was yet another significant step forward in our mission to elevate the national MMA scene to international standards.
Eman Khan Makes History Again with Bronze for Pakistan
Flying the flag for Pakistani women in MMA, Eman Khan once again carved her name in the history books by securing a bronze medal in the Senior Women’s Flyweight (56.7 kg) division. This marked a continued rise in her international career, following her groundbreaking debut at the 2021 IMMAF World Championships as Pakistan’s first-ever female representative.
Her performance in Tajikistan was a testament to both her skill and the growing presence of female athletes in Pakistan’s MMA landscape.

The entire tournament was broadcast live worldwide via IMMAF.tv, giving MMA fans across the globe a chance to witness Pakistan’s fighters in action. From October 27th to 30th, all matches were streamed live and made available on-demand, putting Pakistan’s presence on full display for an international audience.
