2022 IMMAF World Championships: Pakistan MMA Federation’s Proud Participation
From February 11 to 17, 2023, Pakistan MMA Federation made its mark on the global stage by participating in the prestigious 2022 IMMAF World Championships, held at the Štark Arena in Novi Beograd, Serbia. This monumental event, hosted by the Serbian MMA Federation, brought together over 520 athletes from 62 countries, making it the largest gathering in IMMAF history.
Pakistani fighters competed in both the Senior and Junior divisions, representing their nation in various weight categories under IMMAF’s strict amateur rules. The tournament featured six weight divisions for female athletes and ten for male competitors, offering a wide range of opportunities for Pakistani athletes to test their mettle against the world’s best.
The event was part of IMMAF World Championships Week, which concluded with BRAVE CF 69 on February 18. This collaboration between IMMAF and BRAVE Combat Federation provided Pakistani athletes with an invaluable platform to gain international exposure and experience.
